Our Work Together

I use a blend of therapy approaches to offer a customized treatment plan.

Couples Therapy

Couples sessions offer a collaborative setting to learn and practice effective communication, conflict resolution, and intimacy-building skills.

Therapy approaches used:

Gottman, Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Developmental Model for Couples, Attachment Based Therapy, Imago.

Integrative therapy techniques also used in couples sessions to promote mind and body awareness.

Individual Therapy

I provide individual counseling sessions to address personal challenges that support growth and emotional well-being.

Integrative therapy including: Trauma Informed interventions, Body focused approaches (Mindfulness, Neuroscience, Polyvagal theory, somatic awareness) DBT, Family Systems focus, examining belief systems and societal impacts on overall health.

Provider Group

Attention mental health professionals!  I want to be here to support you.  Provider Group (PG) is a free monthly support group for fully licensed mental health professionals, and is intended to decrease isolation, gain support around professional challenges, and share vital resources to better support clients.

It's important to consider the systems around you (family, community, close relationships) to understand their impact on your life and where distress comes from.

I use an anti-oppressive framework to support clients from marginalized groups, and with cultural respect.  In-person and virtual sessions are available to Wisconsin residents.

"I am incredibly grateful for the support received from Amy. She is an incredible listener who genuinely understands and validates my feelings. Her advice is thoughtful and tailored to my needs, helping me navigate challenges and develop healthier perspectives and viewpoints. I can honestly stay that I'm in a much better space mentally now than when I first started. For anyone seeking genuine and compassionate support, I couldn't recommend Amy more!"

Getting Started

You deserve treatment that is tailored specific to your concerns and gives you the most privacy.

The LOCI Center is committed to creating a plan that reflects those concerns, and not only what is allowable and reviewed by insurance.

Generally, couples therapy is not covered by insurance.  I offer fee-for-service outpatient therapy, and am an out-of-network provider to ensure privacy and a more complete approach to our work together.  Some of my sessions run longer than what is allowable by insurance, providing us adequate time to create powerful shifts in your progress.
